Mayhem & Murder Mystery Co is offering a KIDS (ages 12-18) Improv workshop where they will learn the basics of improv comedy by coming together with friends and playing some fun games for a few hours. At the end of our sessions we will have a showcase where you can perform for all fans of comedy.
Practices are January 10 & 24, February 7 & 21 March 14th & 28th and April 11th. March 14th will be family day where any family members can come and watch the kids do their thang!! All at the Harrisburg City Hall Auditorium.
This workshop is completely FREE!!!!
FIBERS CLUB
Do you like to knit, crochet, sew, embroider, felt, or do anything with fabric or fibers??? This FREE club is for you!!!!
Join us every third Thursday of the month, bring your own project and enjoy each others company. If you need help with a project someone will be available to help.
Paint Your Pet for FOSCA
Help us raise some money for Friends of Saline County Animals!!!
Paint YOUR Pet!!! Bring an 8x10 print of your pet (a close up of their face that mostly fills the page is best) We will trace and paint on glass making this project super easy for everyone. You will leave with a unique and framed image of your critter.
ARTSCO will donate all of the profits from this event back to FOSCA
Each ticket is $50. Includes all supplies. The bar at the venue will be open and available for purchases.

Bob Ross Painting Class
Brad Mullins is a certified Bob Ross Instructor and he will be teaching us to paint a night scene. You will learn the techniques in using all brushes and palette knives and the wet on wet method of oil painting. $65 per class. All supplies are provided.

ART IN THE PEONIES
The second Annual Julie Hilliard Memorial Art in the Peonies will be Sunday May 3rd 5pm
This is a FREE gathering of people who just want to create something in the flower fields.
Bring your own art piece or sketchbook to work on plus your camp chairs, blankets & coolers. IF you would like to participate but don't have anything to work on, we have some CUSTOM PEONY Paint kits we can provide. Supplies will all be provided. Kits will be available for purchase soon.

Stained Glass with Sonya
Learn the art of Copper Foil Stained Glass in this beginners class with Sonya Miller.
Attendees will be provided all tools for use during class and materials needed to create your piece. You will leave with your completed work. We will go over pattern and material sourcing, proper use of tools, techniques used to cut glass, proper chemical use, copper foiling, soldering, and finishing your work with lead came.
There are only 3 seats per class. $155 per person. Located at our studio in Harrisburg.

Poetry at the Pub
The Towne Square Pub has a regular Open Mic Night on Thursdays form 7-11pm. Our poets are going to crash their party the second Thursday of the month at 7pm for poetry readings.

Gingerbread Houses with Santa
Join Santa Claus in decorating gingerbread houses!!!
Each child will receive a small gingerbread house and a cookie to decorate. They will get to visit with Santa while working on their creations.
Children under 6 need an adult to stay with them.
This will be a "come and go" style appointment. Each appointment is for around 30 minutes. Appointments are booked every 15 minutes.

ART IN THE GARDEN
Art in the Garden, June 21, 2025, 11am-9pm FREE ENTRY!!
Come join us for a day of arts, crafts, food, music, fun and sun. We will have another amazing group of vendors, artists and musicians lined up for our 3rd annual Art in the Garden.
Art in the Garden is a unique art festival experience made for the Southern Illinois community to connect, create & celebrate the arts and is brought to you by Gallery 111, Art Social, Union Street Arts, Project Human X, Artsco, and Mandala Gardens. This year Art in the Garden takes place on National Let’s Make Music Day as well as The Summer Solstice!!
Our mission is to bring together the Southern Illinois community for a one-of-a-kind celebration of creative synergy! "Art In the Garden" will feature live art, music, and a diverse selection of vendors showcasing & selling their work. Creative activities will be available where kids can take home what they make!
